Order Processing

All orders are processed within 3–5 business days (excluding weekends and holidays).

Orders are shipped Monday through Friday.

Some products may ship sooner depending on inventory availability. Our Sea Moss Gel is made fresh to order to ensure the highest quality and shipped out twice monthly when available. For our retail partners, our gels are always available for purchase unless otherwise noted by the shop (always best to call ahead and make sure they are not sold out!).

Once your order has been processed and prepared for shipment, you will receive a shipping confirmation email containing your tracking number.

Orders placed during high-volume periods or promotional events may require additional processing time.

Sea Moss Gel Shipping (Perishable Product)

Our Sea Moss Gel is made fresh to order to ensure maximum quality.

Because this product is perishable, special shipping procedures apply:

  • Ships insulated and frozen to preserve freshness

  • 2-day priority shipping only to ensure safe delivery

  • Must be refrigerated or frozen immediately upon arrival

Shelf life:

  • Freezer: up to 6 months

  • Refrigerator: approximately 2–3 weeks

Because this product is perishable, it is important to bring the package inside promptly upon delivery.

We cannot guarantee product condition if the package is left outside for extended periods after delivery.


Warm Weather / Summer Shipping Disclaimer

To ensure our Sea Moss Gel arrives at the quality our customers expect, we may limit or temporarily pause shipping of gel products during warmer summer months in certain regions.

High temperatures during transit can affect the integrity of perishable products despite insulated packaging.

When seasonal shipping limitations apply, Sea Moss Gel may be temporarily unavailable for shipping until weather conditions allow safe delivery.


Order Tracking

Customers will receive tracking information via email once the order has been processed and prepared for shipment.

Tracking updates are provided directly by the shipping carrier.

If you do not receive tracking information within several business days after your order confirmation, please contact us.


Shipping Delays

While we aim to deliver all orders within the estimated shipping times listed above, delays may occasionally occur due to factors outside our control, including:

  • Customs processing

  • High shipping volume during holidays or promotions

If your order is delayed beyond the expected delivery timeframe, please contact us and we will assist in tracking your shipment.


International Shipping & Customs

Orders shipped within the European Union from our Portugal warehouse generally do not incur customs duties or import taxes, as the products are already located within the EU.

Orders shipped to the United Kingdom may require customs processing due to current import regulations. In some cases, import VAT, customs duties, or handling fees may be charged by the carrier upon delivery depending on the order value and local regulations.

Any additional customs fees, taxes, or import duties are the responsibility of the customer if they apply.


Lost or Stolen Packages

If your package is marked delivered but cannot be located, please contact the shipping carrier directly.

We are happy to assist customers in filing a claim if requested; however:

Honest Sea Moss is not responsible for packages once they are marked delivered by the carrier.


Incorrect Shipping Address

Customers are responsible for providing the correct shipping address at checkout.

If an order is returned to us due to an incorrect or incomplete address:

  • The customer will be responsible for paying the reshipping cost

If the package does not return to our facility, we cannot resend the order unless a new order is placed.


Damaged or Defective Products

Due to the perishable nature of our sea moss products, we do not accept general returns.

If your order arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect, please contact us within 15 days of the delivery date so we can resolve the issue. After reviewing the claim, we may issue a refund or replacement depending on the situation.

To request assistance, please email us with your order number and clear photos of the damaged, defective, or incorrect product so our team can review the issue promptly.

Products that have been opened, consumed, or used are not eligible for return or refund unless they arrived damaged or incorrect.

Refunds, when approved, will be issued to the original payment method used at checkout.

Holiday Shipping Notice

Shipping carriers experience significantly higher volume during holidays and peak shopping seasons.

Because of this, delivery times may be longer than usual during periods such as:

  • Black Friday / Cyber Monday

  • Christmas and New Year

  • Major national holidays

We recommend placing orders early during these periods to ensure timely delivery.
